New Pictures

Well, it's another day long since the last post I made which was about NOTHING.

I'm in search of a good pattern for the first yarn I dyed myself, since it's got some pretty out-there mixes of color and is a short color repeat. I'm thinking plain stockinette would be best for it, but I don't know if I can get through 2 whole socks in just plain stockinette.

Jayda is passed out on the couch. I guess I let her stay up too late last night, so she'll be going to bed at the right time tonight and not sleeping her night away on the couch. I've been playing a lot of Left4Dead (zombie shooter) but it's gotten almost to the point of being as irritating as Counter Strike has been for a long time. Valve held a free Friday for the game, and they dropped the price by 40% for the weekend after, and I guess lots of kids were able to talk their parents into buying it for them at the lower price. It causes a lot of trouble for older gamers who want a mature bunch of people to play with.

I'm hoping to spin some yarn sometime this weekend though. Even if it's not much, the wheel hasn't seen too much use over the past month. I've been meaning to go to this spinners group up in Tacoma, but Daniel has been working a LOT because of the two-job thing. Irritating that after serving in the military he can't get a job he likes. He's trying to work his way up in the company he works for in the mornings, but things take time I guess.
